WCAC-TV takes an active role in providing the best training possible for our volunteers. We offer courses to members of the Waltham community that cover all of the basics of video production.
The training workshops provided by WCAC-TV are free for all Waltham residents, city departments, and city organizations. Training courses are scheduled every month. There are 4 classes available, orientation (mandatory), camera class, editing class and studio class. Classes are held on Mondays at 7PM. We welcome you to sign up for our training programs and hope that you will find producing community television as exciting and rewarding as we do.
Once a student has finished the course and becomes certified, they will have the opportunity to produce their own television program or work with other members on their shows. These opportunities allow volunteers and students to enhance their television production skills and get their creative juices flowing.
