Last Chance: Reagle's West Side Story

July 15, 2021
You’ve still got time to catch Reagle Music Theatre’s outstanding production of West Side Story—its first Broadway show since COVID.
Inspired by Romeo and Juliet, the dynamic show explores the tragic rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, two ethnically different teenage street gangs in postwar New York City.
Award-winning artistic director Rachel Bertone, familiar from many Reagle productions over the years, directs a diverse young cast, many from Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
They include Eevie Perez as Maria and Blake Du Bois as Tony as young lovers caught between prejudice and warring street gangs in the perennially powerful Broadway classic.
The production includes moving songs such as “Tonight,” “Something’s Coming,” “I Feel Pretty,” “Maria,” and other familiar favorites.
